Now I know, the that the republican led congress didn't do such a hot job. As a matter of fact we lost quite a few seats because of their ineptness. The last Gallup Poll on the republican congress had them at a whopping 37% approval rating. Not to good, huh? The left, libs and democrats had the temerity to say how really lousy the republican led congress were. Well here's a little info you won't see reported by the media because the dems would look bad. According to the latest Gallup po...

Snopes has been unable to either verify or deny that this is real...But it should be...It reminds me of some people I associate with. Actual letter of resignation from an employee at Zantex Computers, USA, to her boss, who apparently resigned very soon afterwards! Dear Mr. Baker, As a graduate of an institution of higher education, I have a few very basic expectations. Chief among these is that my direct superiors have an intellect that ranges above the common ground squirrel...

These facts are all verifiable through the LA Times. If they scare you, they should. We need to send a STRONG message to DC If this doesn't open your eyes... nothing will! From the L.A. Times 1. 40% of all workers in L.A. County ( L.A. County has 10.2 million people) are working for cash and not paying taxes. This was because they are predominantly illegal immigrants, working without a green card. 2. 95% of warrants for murder in Los Angeles are for illegal aliens. ...

For those people (col gene) that say we're losing in Iraq and the Iraqi's don't want the US there, or feel the troops think it's wrong to be there....better read this. From Media Research Center: NBC: Iraqis Want U.S. to Stay, Anti-War Effort Helping Insurgents Visiting Iraq, NBC Nightly News anchor Brian Williams learned from Army officers that Iraqis want U.S. forces to remain in their country, from NBC News Baghdad reporter Richard Engel that Al-Sadr's insurgents have stepp...

This has been verified with both snopes and the orginal brodcast network. Below are the links for verification. Why does it have to be that only the Aussies can get it? Way to go guys . I wish the US would do the same thing . This should apply to our "southern border" also. Muslims who want to live under Islamic Sharia law were told on Wednesday to get out of Australia, as the government targeted radicals in a bid to head off potential terror attacks. A day after a group of mains...

I see how it is now.SConn1 may not be the col, but the actions are simular. He starts to lose an arguement, realizes he can't talk his way out. So then he starts with the name calling. And when that doesn't work you blacklist me.....what a COWARD! Just leave it out for "all" of JU to see what kind of person you really are. Below is a cut & copy of the exchanges between SConn1 and myself. You make the call. And unlike "him" he is not blacklisted on this site. #13 by Sean Conners, ...

And so it starts I knew this was only a matter of time before this crap started. I'm not sure if this was in retaliation for the airplane incident or not. But what I'd like to know is "where" is the moral outrage on this? It seems that both here and the Land of Oz that muslim taxi drivers are refusing to pick up passengers who are toting alcohol or blind ones with guide dogs. I don't know about the land down under....but here in the US it is "blatantly" against the Disability Act. I wonder...

It's about time the judical branch was slapped down and put in their place! I applaud the Bush administration for doing this. I just wish it had been done a loooong time ago. The is from the WSJ: Sending a Message Congress to courts: Get out of the war on terror. BY JOHN YOO Thursday, October 19, 2006 12:01 a.m. EDT During the bitter controversy over the military commission bill, which President Bush signed into law on Tuesday, most of the press and the professional punditry mi...

I told everyone here when this mess first started with Rove and the so called White House conspiracy theory that nothing would come of it and that "no one" would do any jail time for it. Do you believe me now? This would include the likes of col gene and kingbee. Care to say you're sorry? From the Media Research Center: The media -- especially the Washington Post and New York Times -- relied heavily on Wilson's reckless and unfounded charges to wage journalistic jihad against the White H...

With all the hullabaloo going on over Hezbollah and Israel, it seems that the victory is not as sweet as some would have you believe. I still say we should have left Israel just clean up. Here is the link and a small excerpt from the piece. Link Hezbollah's position is no more secure in the broader Arab world, where it is seen as an Iranian tool rather than as the vanguard of a new Nahdha (Awakening), as the Western media claim. To be sure, it is still powerful because it has guns, ...

Well just maybe Hollywood gets it. They fired Tom Cruise for conduct unbecoming. Follow the link below for the entire piece. What say you JU? I say about frigging time! Link This is what Sumner Redstone told The Wall Street Journal: "His recent conduct has not been acceptable to Paramount." Translation: Sumner Redstone fired Tom Cruise for being an idiot. Someone finally fired a celebrity for conduct unbecoming. This is an idea whose time has come, an idea that deserves the ...

As much as I "hate" anonymous users, the one on Charles C's thread raised some interesting points. I have personally seen this happen only to an elderly person. They where threatened with "either do what I'm telling you or I'll put you in a home and then we'll do it anyway. So as to not hijack someone elses thread, I brought it here. Medicine at gunpoint Public trust in conventional medicine has plummeted to such an all-time low that the industry is now resorting to the threat of vio...

I'd like to take just a moment to tell everyone here how proud I am of them. The last 3 of Klink's articles died on the vine. The only response he got was one that he did himself. Way to show self control guys and gals! Keep up the good work.

According to this piece from the WSJ it sounds like they "really" don't want a democracy. Just maybe we should leave them to their own devices. Mr. Nasr uses this history to explain why Iraq's Shia so eagerly embraced the fall of Saddam Hussein. Whereas the Americans saw regime change in Iraq as a harbinger of democracy, Iraq's Shia viewed it primarily as the end to centuries of Sunni domination. And Saddam's fall inevitably stirred hopes for a Shia revival elsewhere. The mantra "one man,...
