With all the hullabaloo going on over Hezbollah and Israel, it seems that the victory is not as sweet as some would have you believe. I still say we should have left Israel just clean up. Here is the link and a small excerpt from the piece.

Hezbollah's position is no more secure in the broader Arab world, where it is seen as an Iranian tool rather than as the vanguard of a new Nahdha (Awakening), as the Western media claim. To be sure, it is still powerful because it has guns, money and support from Iran, Syria and Hate America International Inc. But the list of prominent Arab writers, both Shiite and Sunni, who have exposed Hezbollah for what it is--a Khomeinist Trojan horse--would be too long for a single article. They are beginning to lift the veil and reveal what really happened in Lebanon.

"Hezbollah won the propaganda war because many in the West wanted it to win as a means of settling score with the United States," says Egyptian columnist Ali al-Ibrahim. "But the Arabs have become wise enough to know TV victory from real victory."

Having lost more than 500 of its fighters, and with almost all of its medium-range missiles destroyed, Hezbollah may find it hard to sustain its claim of victory. "Hezbollah won the propaganda war because many in the West wanted it to win as a means of settling score with the United States," says Egyptian columnist Ali al-Ibrahim. "But the Arabs have become wise enough to know TV victory from real victory."

They might have been taking advice from Tom Cruise about how to look good on TV. Look what happended to him.

If anyone believes that Israel or the U.S. has won in Lebanon they are just out to lunch. The destruction caused by Israel using our bombs and military equipment have created more enemies for us BOTH. Do not forget why Hezbollah was formed in the first place-- It was a reaction to the invasion of Lebanon by Israel in 1982.

If Hezbollah uses money from Iran, which appears to be what is taking place, to help rebuild Lebanon, Hezbollah will come out with MORE support from the people of Lebanon then before the war.

First of all, nowhere on this article does it say anything about anyone celebrating any victory. There are no Americans or Israelis singing "We are the champions" from Queen. So that alone is enough to shut you the f_ck up. Second, those weapons were no longer ours, they belonged to Israel. Walmart does not own anything you buy from them after you pay it, that shirt you kids gave you one day belongs to you not to them, get the point or do I have to spell it out for you as well?

If Hezbollah uses money from Iran, which appears to be what is taking place, to help rebuild Lebanon, Hezbollah will come out with MORE support from the people of Lebanon then before the war.

So the Lebanese people will like Hezbollah cause they are giving them money, from iran, to help them rebuild but will not like us for giving them money to rebuild? I'm not one to resort to name calling right off the back but you are the biggest idiot I have ever met in my entire life. You really have no life since all you can do is come to other peoples article, sonce no hardly visits yours anymore, and show us just how idiotic you really are.

funny how as usual you give 1/10 the story.. the other 9/10th was that the PLO {remember them} was using Lebanon as a staging area to terrorize Israel, after being asked by Israel to do something about Yasser Arafat and the PLO, Lebanon did nothing, so Israel took matters in their own hands.

They defeated the PLO and sent them packing, Their mistake was in not executing Arafat and the other top leaders of the PLO. Their second mistake was in not leaving Lebanon after they won.
