This is a reprint from the Wall Street Journal. What is the Kerry Persuasion? For starters, it is not radical. Nothing in Mr. Kerry's record as Senator or as Democratic nominee gives us reason to suspect that as President he would seek dramatically to alter the basic contours of American life. On the economy, that means no HillaryCare, no Smoot-Hawley protectionism, and probably no Kyoto Protocol. On military issues, it's a safe bet Mr. Kerry will do nothing to appear weak on defe...
All this hub-bub about he did this and he did that or what wasn't done that is coming from both sides of the fence needs to stop. Both candidates have good points and bad points, some worse or better than most. I can't say much as I'm as guility as all the rest! But I think we all need to be quiet. Nov 2nd will tell the tale. But I know in my heart what I just said will be iqnored by most. Oh well go figure.
This is reprinted from the Wall Street Journal. BY DANIEL HENNINGER Friday, October 29, 2004 12:01 a.m. EDT Next Tuesday you get to vote for President. Next Wednesday, the lawyers get to decide who won. Why get upset? We've allowed the lawyers to ruin most everything else in American life--from the practice of medicine to the practice of prayer. Might as well let them drive the entire political system over the cliff. "Right now we have 10,000 lawyers out in the battleg...
This is reprinted from the Wall Street Journal. Oil for Food bribery means sanctions against Iraq were doomed to fail. Thursday, October 28, 2004 12:01 a.m. EDT Out on the campaign trail, John Kerry continues to diminish our allies in Iraq and decry President Bush for "rushing" to war without U.N. Security Council approval. But we hope his would-be Secretaries of State, Biden and Holbrooke, are paying attention in private to revelations about the crumbling sanctions regime the...
Reprinted from the Wall Street Journal Man of Conviction Why Bush will win. BY PETE DU PONT Wednesday, October 27, 2004 12:01 a.m. EDT A week ago John Kerry climbed into this year's equivalent of Michael Dukakis's tank--a crisply pressed, fully tailored haute couture hunting suit, capped by an Armani-looking chapeau. The visual impact was Boston-effete and no doubt the last straw for every bluejeaned, layered-jacketed and baseball-capped hunter the Kerry campaign sought to pers...
Running Eagle During a campaign tour of the Apache Nation Wednesday, Democratic presidential candidate John Kerry said he had a plan to increase every Native American's income by $40,000 a year. Senator Kerry refused repeated requests for details of his plan, however. He also told the Apaches that during his Senate career, he has voted YES 9,637 times on every Indian issue ever introduced. Before his departure, the Apache Tribe presented the Presidential candidate a plaque insc...
Ohio Gov. Taft: Four Counties Have More Registrants than Eligible Voters Appearing on CNN's American Morning program Tuesday, Ohio's Republican Governor Bob Taft painted a disturbing picture of widespread vote fraud in his state. Taft told CNN's Bill Hemmer that in four Ohio counties, more people have registered to vote than live in those counties and are of voting age. "We have four counties where you have more voters registered than you have 18 and over population," Taft sa...
A noticable upswing in the economy started about a week ago. Has anyone else noticed the lack of the left complaining about Bush's economic policies? Or is it just my imagination?

This is of course an op-ed piece by Victor Davis Hanson from the National Review Online I believe. But it has some insights as to why people don't like John Kerry. Here's a link to the original. Link October 22, 2004, 8:24 a.m. Kerry’s Dilemma Or, how to lose an election. There is a good chance that no matter what Kerry says or does in the final two weeks of this election — barring some major catastrophe in Iraq, a presidential gaffe, or massive voting irregularity — he wil...

Kerry Rated “F”. . . Fake, Fraud and Second Amendment Phony In The Line Of Fire Kayne Robinson NRA President John Kerry says he’s a hunter. He’s even got the campaign photos to prove it. Kerry says he supports the Second Amendment, but says that you don’t need an AK-47 to hunt deer. The problem is, the Clinton gun ban was not about AK-47s or about any other machine gun. It was the most comprehensive ban ever on self-loading firearms just like those yo...
