Kerry: Bin Laden Cost Me Election

Failed presidential candidate John Kerry is blaming Osama bin Laden for "scaring" voters into re-electing President Bush.

Fox News Channel's Geraldo Rivera caught up to Kerry on Thursday in Little Rock, Ark., where he was attending the opening of the Clinton Presidential Library.

"Tough luck, senator," Rivera said to Kerry, referring to his Election Day defeat.
According to Rivera, Kerry replied:

"It was that Osama tape — it scared them [the American people]."

Kerry told the Fox host that the terror master's October surprise came too late - just four days before the vote - for him to counter.

"Senator Kerry clearly believes not only is it the security issue that cost him the election, but very specifically the Osama tapes coming out in the 11th hour," Rivera reported Friday.

The bin Laden tape echoed attacks by Kerry and other Democrats on President Bush, including references to the disputed Florida election in 2000, Halliburton and a scene from Michael Moore's "Fahrenheit 9/11."

At the time, Democrats said the video would likely help Kerry, because it would remind Americans that Bush had failed to capture bin Laden.

Fox? You can't seriously believe that that news network is credible can you

As opposed to what? CBS? MSNBC?

CBS, MSBC? Oh come on give me a little something more to work with ABC I mean please I think that deserves your labeling! I guess my comment was a little blunt in this world you can't trust the networks to give bipartisan views but may hap the news networks you see as liberal are so much closer to being bipartisan you see them as being liberal. (Under assumption that was what you are getting at!)
Sincerely,
DNCdude

Actually as far as I've been able to piece together, Fox would be one of the few I trust. If Bush screwed up they showed it, if Kerry screwed up they showed it. The other main stream media outlets, if Kerry screwed up you heard nothing or next to nothing about it. However let GW srcew up and they'd be *all* over it.

Point taken however not quite the way I see it. The other networks Kerry screws up they'd show it, if Bush screwed up they show it and some late night comedian making fun of it. All of them if they found it esspecially humerous. Now Fox on the other hand Bush screws up and they show it but do manage some how or another to make the democrats look bad, Kerry screws up and bring in our talk show host we have us a lliberal to cook!

Sincerely,
DNCdude

P.S. I enjoy your entries!

If you don't mind I would like you to show me one time that the main stream media showed a Kerry screw up.

Here you go drmiler one time the nasty liberal media said something mean about Kerry.
The following was taken from CNN website.

"In 2000 Kerry blocked a provision that would have closed an insurance loophole related to the project.
The loophole, according to the article, had resulted in about $129 million in worker compensation and liability insurance overpayments. The article went on to note subsequent insurance company donations to a Kerry political committee that helps Democratic candidates.
The Republican National Committee circulated copies of the article Thursday under its own headline of "Cash and Kerry."

There you have it!

CNN as conservative as Fox?  hardly.  The main complaint with CNN is that rather than sit down and report on a story, they simply, as an old professor of mine used to say, "Barf on the page" TM.  FoxNews does less barfing on the page, but only because they work harder to spin in it.  Unfortunately, CNN has taken the maxim not to spin to mean thatthey should not try to educate their viewers.  Alas for major news networks everywhere.  I get all my substantive news from the Daily Show, at least while I'm in the country.  Otherwise, the BBC.

Cheers
